Our current project is the OBAMACARD. This idea came about during a conversation with the guys at work. I took the concept home, my wife created a prototype, and we found a way to produce them by the thousand. We’ve sold them at the local gun and knife show, the Cincinnati Tea Party, Dayton Tea Party, Columbus Tea Party, and basically everywhere I go. It has been mentioned on Mike McConnell’s radio show, as well as by Neal Boortz.

What is the OBAMACARD? It is a piece of political satire, a protest against the current administation’s tax&spend policies. It is printed on 30 mil PVC for the look and feel of a real credit card, and sized to fit perfectly in your wallet.

We believe that America is great because of freedom- the freedom to create and build, to educate oneself and pursue one’s dreams as far and as fast as energy and ambition will allow. But there are those who believe that America is great because of government, and that the folks who create wealth should be forced to ‘share’ and ‘give back’ through punitive taxation. We object to this kind of social engineering, as this never was the purpose of our tax system.

It is reasonable for our government to require taxes from the citizens of this country, as well as those who do business here, for the purposes of defense, law enforcement, emergency services, and other basic infrastructure needs. It was never meant to be manipulated to form a power base, or punish those who create jobs and build our economy through hard work and investing.

We are producing and selling the OBAMACARD in protest of policies that take the income of American citizens and use that money to support wasteful spending through the various stimulus packages, bailouts, and handouts that our current administration are demanding in the name of fairness. We do not believe that ‘spreading the wealth’ is fair- we cannot simply ‘charge’ Americans with all of the  wishes and desires of politicians and special interest groups, and incur debt that the future citizens of America will have to pay. Any money the government spends comes from the taxpaying citizens of this country.
The OBAMACARD is our way of getting the message out to the folks, a call to WAKE UP and understand what is really happening- we are spending our futures, and that of our children. Buy the OBAMACARD to pass out to friends, family, co-workers… take them to rallies and tea parties… The success of this simple little venture proves that anyone can take an idea in this country and make it work with a little creativity and elbow grease, and the proof (over 7,000 sold in 2009) indicates that there are a lot of people of this country who are not going to stand by and allow President Obama and Congress to demolish our economy.
